General repair of lines and greening of ZEVO Malešice
ZEVO Malešice - Prague’s municipal waste incineration plant (Waste to Energy Facility) underwent a general overhaul between 2018 and 2021. The repair of incineration and flue gas cleaning equipment was carried out while the incinerator was in full operation, with one of a total of four separate lines dedicated to waste incineration being overhauled each year.
KOFING was involved in the GOLEM project (General Overhaul of Lines and Greening of Malešice) throughout the entire overhaul period and, as part of the four-year contract, focused on the dismantling of the original equipment and accessories, including the incinerators, the relocation of existing lines and piping, and the fabrication and installation of the steel structures and new equipment, including the connections to the various utilities.
