Hoppers

In the Waste-to-Energy Plant EVO-Komořany project, KOFING a.s. participated not only in the assembly work, but we also manufactured several components for the energy sector. EVO Komořany is a large-scale project of a modern waste incineration plant.

One of the projects involved hoppers for the company SLOVENSKE ENERGETICKE STROJARNE a.s. Hoppers play a key role in handling the residual products of combustion, such as slag and fly ash.

A total of 7 hoppers were manufactured from P265GH, 16MO3, and 13CrMo4-5 steel plates. Five hoppers will be used for the superheaters, one for the evaporator, and one hopper is located under the vertical pass. The total weight of all the hoppers amounted to more than 29 tons of steel.
