KOFING builds energy bridges for the Opatovice Power Plant

We have begun construction of energy bridges for the future combined cycle power plant in Opatovice nad Labem. The project is part of a broader effort to make energy more environmentally friendly within the EPH Group, in which KOFING has been involved for a long time.

The construction site has already been handed over and work is getting underway. The first face-to-face meeting after signing the contract with the Opatovice Power Plant team took place in a professional and very constructive spirit.

"On behalf of myself and the entire team, I view the meeting with the director of Elektrárna Opatovice, a.s., EOP Distribuce, a.s., Romana Zadrobílková, with the head of purchasing Jaromír Příhoda, Ms. Michaela Jarková, Mr. Jan Felcman, and Mr. Stanislav Ondráček very positively. I believe that our team, led by Pavel Abrla, will maintain this spirit throughout the entire implementation," says Václav Kostřáb, Executive Director of KOFING.

Special thanks go to Michaela Jarková and Jaromír Příhoda for their fair and transparent management of the tender process. From KOFING's internal team, Andrea Sýkorová, who led the commercial part of the contract, deserves recognition.

The project for the Opatovice Power Plant follows on from other projects that KOFING is implementing within the EPH Group. These include, for example, the supply of hoppers for SES Tlmače and cooperation with the German company MARTIN GmbH on the construction of a waste incineration plant in Komořany.

"We approach all projects with great responsibility. The greening of the energy sector is a long-term priority for us," concludes Václav Kostřáb.
