Manufacture of 15-ton Quenching Tanks
For the company ŽĎAS a.s., we manufactured two oversized oil and water quenching tanks at our plant in Paskov. Both tanks, weighing 15 tons, have impressive dimensions – a diameter of 4 meters and a length of 12 meters. Subsequently, they were transported to Žďár nad Sázavou, where they are used for quenching products.
Due to the large dimensions and the thin shell wall, the production required special procedures, including the installation of auxiliary reinforcing crosses to ensure stability. Finally, the tanks were provided with a protective coating for specific operating conditions. Because of the fixed deadlines for complex oversized transport, the entire order was successfully completed in continuous operation in just 6 weeks.
