Modernization of the Karviná Heating Plant

The comprehensive turnkey delivery included the construction of a boiler house facility located on the premises of the Karviná Heating Plant. This encompassed construction works and the assembly of a steel structure for the boilers, with a spatial reserve and preparation for 2 additional boilers.

Furthermore, it involved the supply, installation, and commissioning of 3 natural gas-fired boilers (with a capacity of 3x36 MWt), including gas burners, regulating trains, and accessories.

It also covered the production and assembly of piping systems for natural gas, hot water, and control air, including connection to the existing distribution networks, burner and boiler control systems, and, last but not least, the implementation of safety elements for the boilers and the entire boiler house.

Implementation period: 2021 - 2023
