Reconstruction of the Mill Circuit Piping for Boilers K1 and K4

The subject of the turnkey project was the dismantling of the existing flue gas ducts and the manufacture, including the assembly, of new piping for the mill circuits of boilers K1 and K4 at the Karviná Heating Plant.

The existing flue gas ducts were replaced with new ones within the scope of the project documentation. The new routes consist of several circular ducts and a vertical rectangular duct.

Segmental elbows, T-pieces, transition pieces, and fabric expansion joints for the elimination of thermal expansion are present in all routes. All flue gas ducts were equipped with thermal insulation and clad with galvanized sheet metal, which is designed to be removable at the locations of the dampers.
